Welcome to the website of the Ashingdon and Rochford u3a (Registered Charity no. 1180576) in Essex
The University of the Third Age (u3a) was founded in 1982. It’s a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment and provides educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment. For further general information click on the U3A button on the menu above.

Doors open at 1.15pm and the meeting starts at 1.45pm. Tea and biscuits are provided on entry and we usually have a guest speaker. Notices and general information are given out to members, and there is always the opportunity to book/pay for trips. Non members are welcome to join us at our meetings. Non members will be charged a guest fee of £3 per visit with a maximum of three visits per year per guest.
