Lets meet by the eastern main entrance to St Nicholas Church in Canewdon ready to walk by 10.15 am. NOTE later start time. Parking nearby in High Street or Canewdon Hall Close is usually possible. We will walk in a circuit via Pudsey Hall, and Upper Raypits Farm before returning uphill back into Canewdon. Some downhill to start and uphill to finish but nothing excessive and with plenty of open scenery and views across the Crouch valley. Should not take more than 1 hour 45 minutes with breaks. The Anchor in Canewdon has a beer garden. Perhaps we could have a glass of lemonade or cup of coffee, as it opens from 12 noon.
